Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation – Ride for Kids 2012

Grace Bennett

As you’ve probably read in earlier posts, Gracie was diagnosed with a brain tumor in early 2010.  While part of it has been removed the part which cannot be removed is stable, but the battle is not over.  In order to start finding cures for brain tumors in children we need more research.

One group which specializes in brain tumor research for children is the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.  The foundation is going to have their annual event Ride for Kids on September 9, 2012 here in Indianapolis, IN.  This year we have a page on their site about Gracie and her battle.  We set a goal on the site for money raised in Gracie’s name to $5,000.  So far the page has been up for 3 days and we are over $800.  Here is the link to Gracie’s page.
